I am a Creative Director/3D Artist based in Helsinki, Finland. Currently I'm working at Immersal building an shared Augmented Reality platform.
Before switching my main focus to realtime graphics and specifically AR/VR, I worked at production companies such as Cocoa and Fake.
Over the years I moved from working as a junior 3D artist creating print graphics to leading and supervising small VFX and animation teams as a Creative Director.
I started out as a 3D generalist and my skillset covers a wide range from modeling and animation to rendering and compositing.
With my background, I've worked with all aspects of an animation production, but my focus was in lighting/rendering and later in simulation, scripting and other more technical tasks.
I have experience working in Blender, 3ds max, Softimage, Houdini and now in Unity. I've used multiple different rendering engines like Mental Ray, V-Ray, Arnold, Cycles and Mantra and know the basics of writing realtime shaders for Unity and in GLSL.
I know the basics of Python and C# and know my way around the VEX language in Houdini.
I'm also familiar with many 2D and compositing tools, such as Photoshop, After Effects and Black Magic Fusion .
